Visual Horizons Custom Signs is a full service sign company servicing the Modesto area since 1995. We specialize in vehicle wraps and lettering but also make all types of signs, including electrical, engraving and dimensional signs.
The company was started in a basement in 1995 and has grown to a 6,000 square foot facility. We are a family oriented business that seeks to create effective advertising for our customers.
We utilize state of the art equipment to create beautiful signs and graphics.

Co-owner, outside sales, comic genius.
What are some of your favorite projects?
I enjoy unique one of a kind projects. For example, we once made a 5’ tall carton of ice cream with full color prints that had to come apart for travel. We’ve also made a pair of 3’x3’ dice out of banner material, vinyl and pvc pipes.
What do you like about your job?
I like that almost every job is different.
What do you like about the sign and graphic design industry?
I would say that again the fact that every job is different makes the industry interesting.
What do you do when not making signs?
Indulge in crazy hobbies which I have no time for… rebuilding retro arcade games, building water rockets… depends on the month. |

Co-owner and organizer. I help things stay on track and run smoothly.
What are some of your favorite projects?
I enjoy working on projects where the customer is passionate about the advertising. The customer’s enthusiasm helps fuel my creativity.
What do you like about your job?
I like that each job is unique. I like the flexibility and the fact that I can work with my husband and mom every day and that both of our sons can come to work with us.
What do you like about the sign and graphic design industry?
I would say that again the fact that every job is different makes the day to day work more interesting. The sign industry is technologically advancing by leaps and bounds every year. It’s amazing to see the new machinery and software introduced.
What do you do when not making signs?
When I’m not busy with our boys I write, design and take a million pictures. |

I handle all the accounting and filing. Lots of paperwork, paperwork, paperwork.
What are some of your favorite projects you’ve seen?
I enjoy seeing the wraps and all the signs we did for Javas Café.
What do you like about your job?
I enjoy talking with customers. I also like working with my family.

I like that each order is custom. The industry is always changing.
What do you do when not doing paperwork?
I help with my grandkids, clean and do crafts with my 3 year old grandson. |

What do you do at Visual Horizons Custom Signs?
I’m the production manager. I oversee all cut vinyl from design to application. I also help customers and help with day to day maintenance.
What are some of your favorite projects?
I really enjoy vehicle wraps. The full color capabilities of our machines open the door for creativity and unlimited options.
What do you like about your job?
I like the fact that my job is not repetitive. I’m always doing something different. I also like the occasional donuts and Starbucks!
What do you like about the sign and graphic design industry?
I love using my creativity. Graphic design gives me the opportunity to display my ideas.
What do you do when not making signs?
I write music, make beats and network. |
